The Power of Green Fingers

Last year, NParks launched a new Gardening with Edibles programme to encourage the growing of edibles at home, as part of the vision to bring greenery closer to us.

Influenced by my mother, I have picked up the hobby of home gardening way before this initiative was introduced.

Let me share some of my green babies with you!

What do you think of them?

Amongst my plants, herbs are effortlessly easy to grow as they require low maintenance. Growing capsicum is more challenging given our hot weather. I have to find a suitable spot in my house with the right amount of sunlight to get a good harvest.

My mini edible home garden is nurtured with love and harvested for my cooking. I also bond with my children through tending the plants together.

If you have any suggestions for my home garden or would like to share your home garden with me, do comment below!

Have a great day!
